Out of the Darkness UNL

The club will be handing out ribbon pins for Survivors of Suicide Loss from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. November 15 in Nebraska Union and encouraging Huskers to wear purple and teal along with the ribbons on November 18 and 19 for International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.

Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences

Join the club for Friends and Food from 5:30 to 7 p.m. November 15 in the Stone Collaboration and Innovation Hub to enjoy a potluck and connect with members and other Huskers before leaving for Thanksgiving Break.

Join the club for a Gender-Inclusive Fashion Show from 5 to 7 p.m. November 17 in Othmer Hall 106 to watch specific and non-gender-specific UNL students model business professional and business casual attire.

Pre-Vet Club

Get your pooch washed by the members of the club at their Dog Wash Fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. November 17 at The Canine Scrub. Dogs of students, faculty, staff and the public are welcome and no appointment is necessary. Baths include shampoo and towel drying. Dogs 20 lbs. and under are $15, 21-70 lbs. are $17, and 71 lbs. and over are $20. Air dry is $5 and nail trims are $10.

The two organizations are hosting a Milk & Cookies fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. November 17 at the Alpha Omicron Pi Chapter House (1541 S St). Enjoy cookies, milk, and hot cocoa in support of Toys for Tots.

Vietnamese Student Association, Filipino Students Association, University Lutheran Chapel, Afghan Student Association, and Middle Eastern and North African Student Association are hosting an International Thanksgiving Potluck from 7 to 9 p.m. November 18 at University Lutheran Chapel featuring various cultural and traditional foods.
