Qi Gong

Join this ongoing session to improve balance and flexibility, increase focus and lower stress & anxiety. These classes will cover the basic concepts of Qi Gong (pronounced chee-gong), an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that involves meditation, controlled breathing and movement exercises. Class meets every Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Campus Recreation Center Fitness Room for three weeks. This week's theme is Breath.

Trauma-Sensitive Yoga
5:30 to 6:15 p.m. March 30
Recreation & Wellness Center South Studio


Join this gentle yoga practice in a safe environment with a focus on the mind-body connection. In this 45-minute session, participants will move through a sequence of basic yoga postures exploring what it’s like to be in a particular shape and notice sensations with an intro to basic breathing techniques and mindfulness practice.
