UNL Fly Fishing Club

Take advantage of the warm spring weather this week and join the club from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. April 11 for Fly Fishing and Class Fishing Outings at Holmes Lake.

Student Alumni Association

From 5:30 to 7 p.m. April 11, the club is hosting Sweet Success with Alumnae Tessa Porter at Wick Alumni Center, where Tessa will share her inspiring story about how she broke into a male-dominated industry of STEM through candy development and manufacturing as the founder of the Nebraska-based startup, Sprinkk.

Dare to Wear

Join the club as they host Guest Speaker: Lindsay Ducey from 7 to 8 p.m. April 11 in Gwendolyn A. Newkirk Human Sciences Building, Room 220. Lindsay will share her story of how she broke into the fashion industry, working with brands such as Nautica and Aeropostale.

UNL Archery Club

Each Tuesday this month – April 11, 18, and 25 – the club is inviting students to join them College Archery Night at the Nebraska Outdoor Education Center. Indulge in the exhilarating sport of archery while socializing with others. Coaches and range safety officers are available for beginners and those seeking shooting advice and equipment is provided. Cost is $5 per student each night.

The club is working with Be the Match to recruit people to become bone marrow donors. Stop by the Bone Marrow Booth from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 12 at Nebraska Union to learn more and see if you’re eligible.

Starting at 6:30 p.m. April 13, Best Buddies will host a Scavenger Hunt at the Nebraska Union. All students are welcome to this campus-wide hunt, and winners will be rewarded.

The club is hosting a Professional Pet Headshot Fundraiser from 4 to 7:15 p.m. April 13 at the Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Hall Annex. For $20 you can get a professional headshot and a headshot with your pet.

Join Sigma Psi Zeta from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 13 at Nebraska Union for a Super Smash Bros Tournament. The winner will receive a prize and all entry fees will be donated to their local chapter.
