Dance Marathon

The club will be holding a Candy Cane Fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in a different dining hall each day November 27 (Cather), November 29 (Abel), December 1 (Cather) and December 4 (Harper) to benefit Omaha Children's Hospital.

Delta Xi Nu Multicultural Sorority Inc.

Visit the sorority's Cultural Art Gallery to learn more about the diverse and beautiful cultures that Rho Chapter of Delta Xi Nu is comprised of through art pieces. The exhibit is a free come-and-go event from 7 to 9:30 p.m. November 27 in the Nebraska Union Ballroom.

Theta Xi

The fraternity is hosting its annual Xilent Night philanthropy from 6 to 9 p.m. November 29. For only $5, guests can enjoy a variety of home-baked goods as well as hot chocolate in the festive environment of the Theta Xi chapter house. Additionally, for $2 guests can pie any member of Theta Xi in the face.

Massengale Senate

Join the group for an Ornament Making Event to decorate for the holiday season. The event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. November 28 at Massengale Residential Center.

University Program Council

Holocaust survivor and human rights activist Dr. Inge Auerbacher spent three years as a child imprisoned in a Nazi concentration camp in Czechoslovakia, where out of 15,000 children, barely 1 percent survived. Following her emigration to the United States in 1946, she received a BS in chemistry from Queens College. Since then, she has worked for over 38 years as a chemist with many renowned medical scientists and researchers.

Dr. Auerbacher will provide a 45-minute in-person presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A with the audience. Beginning at 7:30 p.m. on November 29.

This event is FREE for UNL students, faculty, and staff with Event Pass.

If you are unable to attend in person, there will be a livestream available.

OASIS Student Advisory Board

Join the club to Feed Your Brain from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. November 29 in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center. This study night will be a calm and comfortable place to complete academic tasks. There will be food items that are known to improve brain function.

Horticulture Club

Support the club and bring some festive spirit to you or a loved-one's home by purchasing a poinsettia at their annual Poinsettia Sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. November 30 in both the city and the east union. A variety of different poinsettia varieties and pot sizes will be available, as well as a limited selection of other houseplants as well. Cash and card accepted at all locations.

The group will be performing all the music that they have been working hard on at their Winter Show. Enjoy the show in the Swanson Auditorium at 6:15 on December 1.

The club will host its 2023 Fall Show on December 2nd from 5:45 to 9 p.m. in the Union Auditorium. Boots & Cats will be performing their fall rep for anyone to come view.

The club is hosting a Cultural Gala from 6 to 9 p.m. December 2 in the Nebraska Union Ballroom. Join them for a celebration of cultures from across the globe, where international students will proudly introduce their rich traditions, customs, and flavors to the domestic student community.
