In an effort to promote safe bicycle riding on campus and in the Lincoln community, UNL Campus Recreation will offer free bicycle maintenance classes to UNL students and guests. A new topic will be presented each Tuesday night Feb. 23 through Mar. 8.

Classes will focus on basic maintenance items bicyclists can do on their own to avoid being stranded on the street or trail. Topics include patching a flat, basic brake and derailleur adjustments, riding position/bike fit, and layering for winter commuting enjoyment. Each class will be held Tuesday nights 6-8 p.m. at the Bike Shop inside the Outdoor Adventures Center.

Classes are free for UNL students and their guests. General Public fee is $30. Those interested in attending are encouraged to register for the classes via the link below, by calling 402.472.4777 or by visiting the Outdoor Adventures Center.
