Art at Cedar Point is an immersive studio art course (ACE 7) open to art majors and non-art majors alike. It is taught during summer session (June 5- 16) at Cedar Point Biological Station near Ogallala, NE. Info Sessions will be held Feb. 24 & 27. Scholarships are available!

This year's topic is Mixed Media: Art & Nature, taught by Assoc. Prof. of Art, Eddie Dominguez. Course work will help students discover individual creativity inspired by science, nature, and experience in the unique field station environment. Techniques will include drawing, collage, rubbings and natural weathering actions on paper as well as experimentation with natural materials in both 2D and 3D forms. Instructor Eddie Dominguez is a leading artist in contemporary ceramic and multimedia art.

New this year: The course will be offered for both undergraduate at graduate credit and can fulfill continuing education requirements for K-12 instructors.

Scholarships Available: Constellation Studios will sponsor two merit-based scholarships covering room and board for Art at Cedar Point 2017. Applications are due March 27.
