The Alcohol/Drug Harm Reduction Support Group, by University Health Center's Counseling and Psychological Services, is a free weekly group for students who want to make better decisions about their alcohol and/or drug use.

Past groups have demonstrated an eclectic mix of students who vary greatly in their level of use but are able to assist one another in making adaptive changes regarding their substance use. It is a place where students can speak honestly about their current use and get feedback without feeling judged or pressure to change. It is not Alcoholics Anonymous or treatment. Abstinence is not required to attend the group.

The group meets Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. in Benton Hall, Room 118. For more information, contact group facilitator Brigham Scott, MS, PsyD by emailing brscott@nebraskamed.com or calling 402-472-7450.
