UNL students can continue their Campus Rec membership over the summer, even if not enrolled in a summer course. Those enrolled in at least one 1-credit summer course during any summer session and paying UPFF fees automatically have access to use the Campus Rec Centers for the summer. However, students not enrolled in summer classes can purchase a membership that runs May 15–Aug. 20 for $74. Students attending other Universities/Colleges but in Lincoln for the summer can purchase a summer membership with a valid student ID card.

Campus Rec is also launching a 14-week Group Fitness Challenge to promote health and exercise all summer long through group exercise. The promotion runs May 15 through Aug. 20. and is open to students with a summer membership and all Campus Rec members. To start, participants purchase a $55 All-Class Pass that provides access to all group fitness classes for the summer.

During the challenge period, those who attend group fitness classes at the Campus Rec Center or Rec & Wellness Center will receive prizes – a free challenge tank for attending 30 classes and a water bottle prize pack after 45 classes. Participants can also win prizes by tagging #ActiveHusker on Instagram with a photo of them being active.
