Club members discuss the next steps to restoring a prototype John Deere tractor

The UNL Tractor Restoration Club is looking for new members for the 2018-2019 school year. We restore 1 tractor a year usually from the 20's-50's. This year we are working on a garden tractor and a Gibson tractor. We will be doing full restorations on the two projects. We will also be finishing some body work on a prototype John Deere and changing a crank on a Minneapolis-Moline. Don't be intimidated if you know nothing about tractors. Most of our members knew nothing when they first joined. Besides working on tractors, we also take a yearly trip in the spring to tour an Ag manufacturing facility. Last year we toured the John Deere combine factory in Moline, Illinois. We meet weekly on Thursdays behind the Larson Tractor Test and Power Museum. If you are interested, please meet us behind the Museum of text/call Chuck Krueger at 402-750-4307. We can't wait to see you there!
