'Prostate Cancer Prevention with Diet and Epigenetics' is the subject of Emily Ho's Dec. 14 presentation as part of the Nutrigenomics Seminar Series. Her talk will begin at noon in the Nebraska East Union's Garden Room.

All interested faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend.

Ho is associate professor in the School of Biological and Population Health Sciences and principal investigator at the Linus Pauling Institute.

Her current research focuses on understanding the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms by which nutrient status affects the initiation and/or progression of chronic disease states such as cancer.

She holds a bachelor's degree in nutritional sciences at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and a doctorate in nutrition from Ohio State University.
