New lunch option available at the Nebraska Union

Food from Mary Ellen's Food for the Soul will be available inside the Nebraska Union this winter.Mary Ellen’s Food for the Soul, a popular food truck north of the Nebraska Union, is moving indoors during the winter months. The pop-up shop will be located inside the Nebraska Union near the laptop checkout on the west wall Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Sheldon Museum of ArtChange your study scene! The Sheldon's Great Hall will be transformed into a great study hall. Fuel up with snacks and find inspiration throughout the galleries from 5-8 p.m. Admission is free.

'Dawnland' screening explores indigenous child removal impacts

“Dawnland” follows the first government-sanctioned truth and reconciliation commission in the U.S., investigating the devastating impact of Maine’s child welfare practices on Native American communities.A screening of “Dawnland,” a documentary examining the impact of indigenous child removal in the U.S., will begin at 6 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium. A popcorn bar will be available during the film, and a panel discussion will follow.

 

Free Skate Night

Free Skate Nights are free for any university student with their N-Card and $6 per person for the general public.Grab a friend for Free Skate Night at the John Breslow Ice Hockey Arena from 8-11 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7. Admission is free for students with Ncard. Skate rental is $3 per pair.
