Campus Recreation is hosting Silent Disco from 7 to 10 p.m. Jan 25 at the Campus Rec Center (City). More than 1,000 students are expected to join the party and participate in the exciting activities.
There will be GLO Rock Climbing, with the help of Outdoor Adventures staff. Students can also compete in an exciting game of GLO Dodgeball, moderated by the Dodgeball Club.
Another sensational new addition this year is Silent Disco. Students will be given a set of glowing headphones. With these headphones, they pick one of the DJ’s channels. They can listen to their choice of music while dancing with their friends.
Students will get glow sticks, Pepsi drinks, and popcorn. The best part is, everything is free with a student NCard.
Between dancing, climbing, and competing in dodgeball, attendees can walk around and visit the vendors. These, in addition to Pepsi, Raising Cane’s, and KFRX, include Education Abroad, Intramural Sports, Massage Therapy, Husker Tech, Campus Recreation Advisory Council, University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union and Family Health Services.
This is a great opportunity for students, especially new students, to learn about fun and helpful organizations on campus. In addition, they will have a chance to unwind and meet new friends.
