Teachers need new learning opportunities to prepare them for higher expectations and help them offer high-quality math courses to their students. The Nebraska Math and Science Summer Institutes (NMSSI) offer graduate mathematics and pedagogy courses using a teacher-friendly delivery model that helps teachers respond to this challenge.

NMSSI offers courses in a weeklong or two-weeks-long format to help you take advantage of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's professional development opportunities conveniently. For secondary teachers in June, Math 811T: Functions for Precalculus Teachers will be offered in the mornings, along with TEAC 892: Integrating Mathematics Teaching & Learning on the UNL City Campus, in Henzlik Hall, in the afternoons.
