This summer, NMSSI is offering two graduate‑level courses designed to strengthen instructional practice, build technology leadership, and support meaningful innovation in K–12 classrooms. A limited number of fellowships are available, helping make these courses more affordable—early registration is encouraged.
TEAC 890 – Workshop Seminar: AI Literacy for Teachers
This hands‑on workshop introduces K–12 teachers to AI literacy fundamentals and practical classroom applications. You’ll explore how AI works, its educational implications, and ways to integrate AI tools meaningfully into your teaching. Through interactive sessions and collaborative activities, you’ll develop strategies to help students become informed, critical users of AI while addressing ethical considerations. No prior AI experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to learn!

TEAC 858 – School Technology Leadership
This online asynchronous course explores and applies key educational leadership principles in technology use. Coursework will focus on developing shared vision, planning and access, integration of technology into instruction, assessment and evaluation, support and professional development, community relationships, and ethical and legal issues.
