
The Nebraska Math and Science Summer Institutes (NMSSI) offer graduate mathematics and pedagogy courses in a weeklong format to help you take advantage of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's professional development opportunities conveniently and affordably.
This summer, MATH 800T: Math as a Second Language (for grades 3-7 teachers) and MATH 805T: Discrete Mathematics (for grades 6-12 teachers) will be offered in Scottsbluff at ESU 13. MATH 800T (Class # 3265, Sec # 953) is June 3-7, while MATH 805T (Class # 2958, Sec # 951) is June 17-21. Secure your spot in class and a $300 NMSSI Fellowship before the funds run out!
The Benefits of the NMSSI:
• Nebraska teachers automatically qualify for a 20 percent discount on in-state tuition at UNL
• Teachers can also apply for an additional $300 tuition fellowship from the NMSSI: https://cse.unl.edu/scimath/apps/apply.php
• All NMSSI courses also include a free lunch on each day of class
• The $50 UNL Graduate Studies admission fee is waived for current Nebraska teachers
• Each course is worth 3 graduate credit hours at UNL
