What will you learn in Summer 2016 that will enhance your ability as a mathematics teacher? Get one step closer to your master’s degree or continue your professional development experience this summer by taking courses for secondary teachers offered in Lincoln through UNL's Nebraska Math and Science Summer Institutes.

For all on-site NMSSI courses, current Nebraska teachers automatically qualify for a tuition fellowship from UNL equal to 20 percent of in-state, graduate tuition. Apply now for a fellowship from NMSSI to further reduce the costs of tuition and fees. Apply online via the CSMCE application portal: http://go.unl.edu/scimathapply. Start by choosing "Create an Account" to get logged in. Once in, click on the "NMSSI Summer 2016 Fellowship" application to get started.

Five courses for secondary teachers will be offered in Lincoln in Avery Hall and Henzlik Hall on City Campus this summer through the NMSSI. As follows are the course listings and registration steps (see stories in this newsletter or go online for full course descriptions):
