The 2019 Nebraska Lectures: Chancellor's Distinguished Lecture Series continues Oct. 12 with a talk about Centennial College, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's residential learning program from 1969 to the late 1970s. "Navigating Change Forward - Creativity in Community: Reviewing UNL's Centennial Education Program" is at 1:30 p.m. in the Love Library Auditorium, 13th and R streets. The event features a panel discussion with program alumni Paul Olson, Barbara Smith, Ned Hedges and Ali Moeller.

Nebraska lectures are free and open to the public.

As part of the university's 150th anniversary celebration in 2019, the Nebraska Lectures: Chancellor's Distinguished Speaker Series, has expanded to a year-long, 12-talk format, with a special focus on history. The series is sponsored by the Office of Research and Economic Development, Office of the Chancellor and the Research Council, in collaboration with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
