Take an OLLI “In Our Backyard” trip to Kearney, Neb., and the Rowe Sanctuary to witness one of the largest migrations on the planet. Experience the Sandhill cranes March 23-24, 2020, from viewing blinds along the Platte River as hundreds of thousands of the beautiful dancing birds make their way north to Canada.

This "In Our Backyard" getaway includes:

- Roundtrip motor coach transport
- 1-night hotel Country Inn & Suites, Kearney, including taxes
- Buffet dinner at Valentino’s
- Breakfast at hotel
- Driver Gratuities
- Sunset and Sunrise Sandhill Crane viewings in Rowe Sanctuary blinds (30 persons per blind)

This trip requires extended periods of time standing or walking, sometimes over 30 minutes and also on uneven and unpaved ground, including walking in the dark by flashlight.

Dates: March 23-24, 2020

Cost: $344 per person double occupancy; $419 single occupancy

Departure Point: Gateway Mall parking lot, north of Dillard’s parking deck

Departure: March 23 at Noon. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to Noon. Return by approximately 4 p.m. March 24.

Payment in full due at reservation. Additional $25 per person for non-OLLI members
