Angels Theatre Salon Reading Series

Hear what contemporary playwrights have to say.
Hear what contemporary playwrights have to say.

Angels Theatre explores characters, themes and styles that contemporary playwrights use to communicate ideas and stories. The next reading is on Sunday, Nov 3, 2 p.m. with Christina Anderson's play "Blacktop." Readings are held at Turbine Flats, 2124 Y St. Readings are free and open to the public.

Blacktop Sky shows what happens when people push and break the boundaries between bystanders and active participants, between ourselves and "others," and what happens when what we don't do and say, pushes our story further than the things we actually do.

The best thing that can happen to a playwright is for their work to be performed and to get feedback from the audience. That's where you come in! Angels Theatre needs you to tell them what you think, what works, what doesn't work, and what will stick with you on the drive home.

There will be snacks and treats provided, as well as The Happy Raven's large selection of craft beers, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase.
