Sketching

We will be assembling our traveling exhibit of sketches. Various participants in the group have loaned us their art for the exhibit. The display will be offered to each of the places we have been to on our field trips. We will do some sketching and also conduct some business. We need to decide if we will meet over the summer and decide who will be an extra facilitator for the group.

Talking Baseball

The Major League Baseball season has begun but someone forgot to tell the Kansas City Royals and they've gotten off to a woeful start! Rookie outfielder Aaron Judge is off to a record start for the New York Yankees. Is he the next Yankee immortal? Adam Jones of the Baltimore Orioles has spoken out about fan racial abuse. What are your thoughts about that? What else has caught your attention at the start of the season? We'll also talk about the Nebraska Cornhusker baseball team as it competes for the Big 10 baseball championship and tries to make the NCAA tournament field. The OLLI baseball trip to watch Nebraska vs. Creighton game at TD Ameritrade is Wednesday, May 10, so we will preview that trip as well.
