Prairie Schooner, a national literary quarterly publication

“Prairie Schooner,” a national literary quarterly published with the support of the English Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska Press, is home to the best fiction, poetry, essays and reviews being published today by beginning, mid-career and established writers. Authors from the Nebraska 150 book list will be discussed as to their early works published in the “Prairie Schooner.” The life of Professor Lowry Charles Wimberly, its first editor, will be presented by his granddaughter, Polly Wimberly. This presentation will consist of family photos, correspondence with authors and Professor Wimberly's short stories.

Copies of the magazine will be available for you to look at and take home.
