Nebraska Chamber Players concerts this weekend

The 2018 season of Nebraska Chamber Players' unique chamber music at NET Ron Hull Studio in Lincoln continues Friday, Feb. 2, 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 4, 3 p.m. Tickets are available in advance or at the door.

The Nebraska Chamber Players welcomes guest artist Dr. Jefferson Campbell, who has commissioned and premiered over 20 new works for the bassoon in recent years. His collaborations with composers Jess Hendricks, Justin Rubin and marimbist/composer Gene Koshinski have resulted in a series of popular new pieces featuring the bassoon.

In addition to the Nebraska Chamber Players, he has performed with the Bowling Green Symphony Orchestra, Lincoln Symphony, Omaha Symphony, Owensboro Symphony, Greensboro Symphony, Sioux City Symphony, Chicago Chamber Orchestra, Richland Symphony, and the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra.
