The Angels Theatre Company’s First Flight Festival (FFF) will be held July 18-29. FFF will premiere 22 new short plays, each under 20 minutes. FFF 2018 is presented in the UNL Studio Theatre, located on the first floor of the Temple Building at 12th and R Streets. The First Flight Festival celebrates local playwrights and new work through exposure, development and production.
An average performance last approximately two hours including intermission. Each Flight is followed by a discussion with the playwrights. Flight C is a little different because it contains plays written for youth, performed by students from Malcolm, Nebraska public schools.
