OmniArts Nebraska is new OLLI partner

An outrageous and unexpected story
An outrageous and unexpected story

Welcome to new OLLI partner OmniArts Nebraska. The next performance is "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," which runs September 27 to 30, 8 p.m., at the Lied Commons at the Lied Center. OLLI members receive a discounted ticket. Doors and cash bar open at 7:30 p.m.

This outrageous and unexpectedly hilarious story is performed by Hedwig, played by Dustin Witte, in the form of a rock gig/stand-up comedy routine backed by the hard-rocking band "The Angry Inch." Using songs and monologues, Hedwig tells her story. Hedwig describes her life's search for the origin of love and her other half. It's a rocking ride, funny, touching, and ultimately inspiring to anyone who has felt life gave them an inch when they deserved a mile. This production is intended for mature audiences.

A cash bar will be open throughout the show and complimentary bar snacks will be provided.

Tickets are available through the Lied Center for Performing Arts Ticket Office, (402) 472-4747, or online at http://www.liedcenter.org. General Admission: $20; Students/Seniors: $16; OLLI members: $14 (all fees apply).

Tickets purchased in advance will be available for pick up at the Lied Commons the night of each performance. Tickets may be purchased the night of each performance at the main Lied Center Ticket Office.
