OLLI requesting members help to support Nebraska Youth

OLLI members assistance is being requested to help as a science fair judge for the Nebraska Junior Academy of Sciences Southeast Regional Science Fair. Volunteer judges are needed on Friday, March 29, 8:30 a.m. to Noon, at Hardin Hall. The College of Education and Human Sciences and the College of Agriculture and National Resources are co-hosting the science fair event.

You will review 3-4 student/team abstracts, talk with students about their project, and critique their presentations. Never judged a science fair before? No need to worry—these students are well prepared and will make the process easy. We will briefly review the judging processes and some guiding materials as we begin the day. Just in case you are motivated by free food, you should know that judges will be well taken of.

Please complete the following survey if you are interested in being a judge.
