The Nebraska Wildlife Federation seeks volunteers for American Spring Live citizen science family events. Volunteers are needed Friday, April 26 from 6-9 p.m. during the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum's Spring Affair dinner and/or Saturday, April 27 at Lincoln Earth Day between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Shifts are available.
During these events, volunteers explain two fun citizen science projects using easy to follow handouts, then enroll participants who agree to collect data and log their findings online. Prior to the events, volunteers attend a 30-minute training on the two activities.
