Grace Ellis, a sophomore in secondary education from Waverly, Nebraska, stayed on campus to serve as a resident assistant and work as a desk assistant in University Suites. When the University of Nebraska–Lincoln announced a transition to remote learning, Grace Ellis knew she could be of service as a resident assistant to students who needed to stay, and she wanted to protect her parents by limiting their exposure.
