Students to compete to win cash prizes in the Tenaska Business Challenge

Your student has a new opportunity to apply their knowledge and solve a real-world problem in the inaugural Tenaska Business Challenge.

In teams of 3-4, undergraduate students from any major compete against their peers to present solutions to the provided case. Starting on Monday, Feb. 6, each team has one week to submit a presentation for a chance to win. Top teams will present in person on Friday, Feb. 17, and from there the top two teams go on to represent the university in a regional competition, facing other universities on Thursday, Feb. 23 for a chance to win more cash prizes! Each round of the competition offers the following cash prizes:

1st place: $2,000
2nd place: $1,500
3rd place: $1,000
*Additional smaller awards will also be presented.

This challenge is sponsored by Tenaska, one of the largest privately held companies in the United States and a leader in the energy industry. Hosted by the College of Business, any undergraduate student can sign up to apply their knowledge and solve a real-world problem. Students should register to compete by Tuesday, Jan. 31.
