The goal: A fun weekend for parents and UNL students to get together, see how things are going and have a fun time while learning more about UNL and spending time together. Timed so that students have had a chance to attend classes, settle into their housing, try the food, and figure out what is great for them and what they may need a little support with while working on their education at UNL.
What would make a fun activity for you during the weekend? What would make a fun activity for your student during the weekend? We would love to have ideas from both parents and students now. We want you both to have a good time and to have some happy memories. If you have ideas you are willing to share, please send them to Tonda Humphress at thumphress1@unl.edu.
If you have attended UNL Parents Weekend in the past and would be interested in volunteering to help with this event, please let Tonda know. If you have not attended or have attended but would like to attend, watch for registration information coming later this summer to the UNL Parents Association web site (http://parentsassoc.unl.edu/parents-weekend).
