Incoming Freshman Students - University Housing will begin emailing* 2014-2015 UNL Housing Contract information the end of January after the student is admitted to UNL. Access to filling out a Housing contract is based upon the date the enrollment deposit was paid to Admissions. The traditional hall contract requires a $400 advance payment; a minimum of $200 can be paid before May 1 with the $200 balance due by May 1.
Incoming Upperclass Students - 2014-2015 UNL Housing information will also be emailed* to incoming upperclass students. Students will need to pay an advance payment to have a valid contract. Additionally, apartment-style units are available to upperclass students. Please contact Housing by e-mail after March 1 regarding space availability in apartment style housing.
UNL student non-resident of UNL Housing - Contact Housing by email after March 1 regarding space availability in the apartment-style and suite-style halls.
*Housing information will be emailed to the address provided when enrolling through the Office of Admissions.
Current University Housing Residents - the 2014-2015 Contract can be found on MyRed (enter your NU ID and password, select "Additional Services", "Residence Halls", "2014-2015 Contract", enter requested information, select your room and pay the advance payment then submit your contract. Your contract is not finalized until payment is received. Note: You may submit the advance payment online by credit/debit (VISA, MasterCard or Discover) or e-check. NCard is not accepted for this purpose. Do not mail cash or checks. Do not pay at the Student Accounts Office in Canfield/Administration. Housing advance payments must be paid and receipted through the Housing office only. To submit your advance payment with cash or paper check, pay at the UNL Housing office (1115 N. 16th St). Selected room assignments will be held for 20 minutes. You are may complete the contract in the Contracts office. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., CST.)
