The UNL Parents Association Summer Social and Meeting will be Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 11:30 am - 2:00 pm at the Maxwell Arboretum area on East Campus. We will provide the hamburgers, hot dogs, iced tea and water and invite parents to bring a side dish to share. Families are welcome - but please RSVP to the Student Affairs Office at 402-472-3755 or via email to Tonda Humphress at thumphress1@unl.edu so we know how many people to expect. Afterwards, consider checking out the nearby UNL Dairy Store and possibly treat yourself and your family to a delicious summer ice cream cone.
Please join us to socialize and learn more about the UNL Parents Association and how you can be involved as well as get an update on what is going on at the University from Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Juan N. Franco. The more people the more fun (kids can run around and parents can visit) - so please mark your calendars and plan to join us; we all get to enjoy some good food and company for a little while.
