In January, Clayton Wacker, a junior ag business major from Hooper, NE, was named an All-American Sport Official during the NIRSA National Flag Football Tournament in Pensacola, FL. Clayton is a second-year staff assistant in the UNL Intramural Sports program. He officiated the regional championships in November hosted by the University of Western Kentucky and received an at-large bid to the national tournament. Based on his merits and skill during the tournament, Clayton was selected to officiate the Women’s National Championship game. Since 1983, twenty-seven UNL students have received All-American sport official honors. Congratulations, Clayton!
