Held March 11, “Declare Your Major Day” encouraged students in the Explore Center to change their major from undeclared before registration begins for fall semester. Students participated in a photo booth experience and enjoyed refreshments.
If your student is undeclared and ready to declare their major, encourage them to come in to the Explore Center and make it official! During Priority Registration (March 28th – April 12th), Explore Center advisors are available via walk-in, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4pm.
For students still unsure of major, there are resources available to help with decision making. Advisors in the Explore Center are happy to help with recommendations of good next steps. Some of these steps may include: researching majors in the Undergraduate Bulletin, visiting Career Services to talk with a Career Advisor and possibly taking an interest assessment, or meeting with major advisors in areas of interest. Encourage your student to come in and see us for guidance in selecting majors.
