At about 1:02 p.m. CDT on Aug. 21 and lasting for 1 minute and 24 seconds, a solar eclipse, where the moon is directly blocking the sun, will reach totality and create darkness. Protective eclipse glasses will be available at multiple campus locations for students choosing to watch this phenomenon.
