Are you interested in law, government, acting, criminal justice, or public speaking? If you said yes to any of those, Mock Trial is the perfect fit for you! We travel all over the country competing against different schools by preparing a case and presenting it to a judge. Even if you know next to nothing about the law, you can join! We teach you everything you need to be a fake lawyer or witness! Our team meets three times a week for two hours each time, as well as competing over some weekends. Every person should have at least three competitions to attend!
We will be having informational meetings about the team where you can ask questions, learn more, and meet current members! They will be on Thursday, August 28th and Friday, August 29th from 7:30-8:30 P.M. in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center room 211. If you need help getting there, just reach out :)
Auditions will be held the week of September 1st. Our website has all the audition materials and information you could need! We also have information on our Instagram @unlmocktrialteam. Follow us to stay up to date and get an idea of our team as a whole!
