Young Adult Subcommittee for Nebraska Coalition Juvenile Justice

The Nebraska Coalition for Juvenile Justice (NCJJ) serves as the state advisory group overseeing Juvenile Justice policies in accordance with the federal Juvenile
Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA). The NCJJ is dedicated to
strengthening Nebraska’s juvenile justice system by promoting fairness, addressing challenges related to detention, arrest, and status offenses, and ensuring equal treatment for all young people. Members are appointed by the NCJJ Chair. The Young Adult Subcommittee works to amplify youth voices and drive meaningful change in Nebraska's juvenile justice system. The Young Adult Subcommittee helps shape a system that better serves and supports youth in Nebraska. The young adult subcommittee has a 2 year commitment. Next Steps:
