Students will explore the science, technology, history, and political context surrounding chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) weapons, along with cyber and electromagnetic threats that can disrupt critical infrastructure.

• Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear weapons – types, agents, mechanisms, and health effects.
• Weapons of Mass Disruption – cyberattacks and electromagnetic events that threaten modern society.
• Counterproliferation and Response Systems – how local, state, and federal agencies coordinate to deter, prevent, and respond to WMD events.
