From baby steps to giant leaps: What does it mean to be a Teacher Leader?

Taking on leadership roles can mean many things. For some, sharing teaching ideas with a few colleagues is an example of leadership. For another, it means turning to Primarily Math instructors as a resource on behalf of her colleagues. To others, it involves organizing staff development for teachers and principals for an entire district.

As we begin hearing from you, we anticipate learning of many more examples of leadership, in baby steps or in giant leaps, and we hope to continue sharing these examples in future issues.
