Don't Miss Out! Supplier Showcase is Coming Soon

The 9th annual Supplier Showcase, hosted by Procurement Services, is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 16 in the Nebraska Union, Centennial Room.

The event allows faculty and staff to personally meet suppliers they work with throughout the year. Attendees enjoy software demonstrations, new furniture options and office enhancements.

Last year’s event attracted more than 500 people.

One attendee commented afterward, “I appreciate the versatility of vendors represented at the Supplier Showcase. I look forward to attending every year."

The layout at this year's event will group suppliers by commodity, based on attendee feedback, as well as prize giveaways at supplier tables. Bring business cards or labels to sign up at the booths.

“The Showcase is all about networking, and providing access to knowledge,” said Maggie Witt, director of Procurement Services. “We want our campus stakeholders to have the opportunity to interact with Procurement and our suppliers, ask questions, learn about new products, available services, and make connections. We also want to provide opportunities for education on key topics of interest impacting everyone in procurement today. Customer service is at the core of all that we do, and we want to make it easier for everyone to run the business of the University.”

More than 80 suppliers and internal university service departments will be on hand to meet, educate and answer questions. Go to our listing of registered suppliers.

Throughout the day, breakout sessions are offered on computer standards, contracting, Concur Q&A, household moves and more. Sign up for a Breakout Session in advance on our website:

Plan to spend some time at the Supplier Showcase on Oct. 16th!
