Mock Interviews

Representatives from the Explore Center and Career Services will be available to conduct virtual practice interviews for admission into professional health programs. These mock interviews simulate a 1:1 interview. In Person interviews will be conducted in the NE Union, Room 225. For virtual interviews, you will receive a Zoom link from your interviewer before your scheduled mock interview. Choose the date that works best for your schedule!

Gap Year for Pre-Health Students

If you have considered taking a cap year before starting your professional health program but have questions, this workshop is for you. At this workshop, we will discuss many aspects of the gap year, including what to do during your gap year(s), why you might consider taking a gap year, and what important questions you may want to start researching now to make sure your gap year helps you accomplish your career goals.
Volunteer/Shadowing Opportunity – JNS Health Solutions
JNS Health Solutions is offering volunteer shadowing opportunities for pre-health students interested in community health, patient outreach, and real-world healthcare operations. Volunteers will assist our clinical outreach team during on-site community events serving underserved populations, gaining exposure to patient intake, health education, and clinical workflows.
This opportunity is ideal for pre-Nursing, pre-Medicine, and pre-PA students looking to strengthen their resumes with meaningful hands-on healthcare experience while giving back to the community. We will be choosing volunteers until February 14th, and starting towards the end of February.

Pre-Med Mentorship Opportunity – Resiliency in Medicine
Resiliency in Medicine pairs undergraduate pre-med students with medical student mentors to help them navigate their journey to medical school. We are happy to accept as many undergraduate students as possible, but we especially have a focus on students from first generation/low income/otherwise underrepresented backgrounds.
