The article "Steps for Starting a Professional Learning Community (PLC): A Literature Review" by PROSPECT S-STEM Evaluator John T. Sutton is now available to read and download for free via DigitalCommons@University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

The literature review summarizes 20 resources identifying steps to create and develop a PLC that were reviewed from Nov. 17–30, 2023. The resources were acquired through a key word online search that included “PLCs,” “Starting a PLC,” “Steps in Creating a PLC,” and “Building your PLC.” The goal of the literature review is to identify important steps to the success of PLCs and provide sufficient information to start one.
