The "Mini" Pitch a Weekend Program funding opportunity, sponsored by Student Involvement and Union Bank and Trust, is a new initiative designed to encourage a wider variety of weekend programming for Nebraska students. A spin-off of the larger “Pitch a Program” event, we want to hear from our RSOs new event ideas they have, or ways they would love to enhance an existing event!
The funding is available to any RSO who is in good standing with the Student Involvement Office. RSOs have the ability to apply for funding up to $2,000 to assist them in planning and implementing an event or program that is open to all UNL students, and occurs on a Friday or Saturday. Only events and programs for the Fall 2020 semester will be considered. A minimum of six programs will be selected.
The application form for the “Mini” Pitch a Weekend Program can be found in the “forms” tab of your NvolveU portal, or at this link: https://unl.campuslabs.com/engage/submitter/form/start/385383
To be considered, applications for funding must be received by Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 11:45 pm. If the RSO's application is selected for consideration, the RSO must be available for a 30 minute, in person interview with the Student Involvement Office.
Questions can be directed to Veronica Riepe, Director of Student Involvement at vriepe2@unl.edu or 402-472-2454.
