Looking for free food, Husker spirit, and socially-distanced fun? Student Involvement & UPC Nebraska are excited to present Big Red Rewinds, an outdoor event at the Nebraska Union Greenspace from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, October 9.

Big Red Rewinds will include an outdoor screening of the 2017 NCAA Women’s Volleyball final between the Nebraska and Florida. Students can view some Husker Volleyball action and enjoy free food from food trucks on site. The Iron N and Husker Spirit Squad will be in attendance to welcome students, lead cheers, and present a halftime performance.

This is a FREE event open to UNL students with Event Pass and wearing a face covering. Students are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to set up within socially distanced markers in the grass. When checking in with Event Pass, students will receive a $10 food truck voucher to be used onsite with Hog Wild Pit BBQ or another food truck vendor.

In case of rain, the volleyball match showing will be moved to the Nebraska Union Swanson Auditorium and food trucks will still be available.

To ensure the event is safe for all participants, COVID-19 mitigation measures will be in place. Six feet social distancing rules will be enforced, masks are required, and hand sanitizer will be available for all attendees.
