In order to continue to plan events, utilize your SOFS funds, reserve rooms and have your NvolveU page active, groups simply have to stay in compliance. Staying in compliance is very simple!
Most groups only need to complete 2 things each year. They are:
Re-registering the group when new officers are elected.
The new officers (President, Treasurer, Primary Programmer) need to complete Annual Orientation.
Groups that do significant fundraising may need to procure an FTIN - work with SOFS if you fundraise more than $5,000 annually.
Annual Orientation dates will be featured on NvolveU. Alternatively, you are welcome to complete our virtual, on demand Annual Orientation at any time. This video series will collect your information and prompt you with questions throughout to ensure you're learning the material along the way.
