Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., an international organization of collegiate and college-educated professional women, was founded in 1913 at Howard University and has as its principles Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service. Since its founding 108 years ago, more than 300,000 women have joined the organization. The sorority currently has 1,000 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States, Canada, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Jamaica, and the Republic of Korea.
The Omicron Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a collegiate organization that is concerned with and involved in meeting the needs of our communities. As a social organization, our chapter conducts programs and hosts events related to education, social action and political awareness, health awareness and prevention, financial stability, and community outreach.
We would like to have the opportunity to go into greater detail about Delta Sigma Theta and to answer any questions you may have about the organization and the Omicron Chapter. The RUSH is scheduled for Saturday, February 6th at 1:13pm. It will begin promptly at 1:13 pm and will take place via zoom.
