Happy New Year and Happy Spring 2023! Last semester, the Student Leadership, Involvement & Community Engagement team welcomed Brian Rountree to Nebraska as the new assistant director for student organizations. Brian comes to UNL from Los Angeles, CA where he worked at Loyola Marymount University in student housing. Brian’s involvement and passion for student organizations encouraged him to apply for the opportunity to work our recognized student organizations here at Nebraska.
Originally from Seattle, WA, Brian moved to California after high school where he went on to get a B.A and an M.A. from the University of Redlands and is working to finish his doctorate in educational leadership from USC. Brian has worked with several student organizations in his career, many of which are here at UNL. Some of these include:

A fun fact about Brian is that he is an avid traveler and has been to every continent except Antarctica. Brian is excited to help oversee the RSOs at UNL and serve as a member of the Student Leadership, Involvement, & Community Engagement team.
