Climate Change Lightning Round: What does climate change mean to you?
The Center for Great Plains Studies invites undergraduate and graduate students to apply to make a short presentation at our Great Plains conference on “Climate Change and Culture in the Great Plains.” We will select 10 students to make back-to-back, quick presentations to help the audience understand how students from different majors, disciplines, and life experiences view climate change. Each student selected will give a 4 minute presentation on April 2 within the 3:15-4:15 p.m. hour (CST) on Zoom.
You choose your own presentation style and content. It can be current research, classwork you’ve done, personal experience, artistic interpretations, or whatever you want to present. Feel free to use a creative format (video, powerpoint, speech, artwork, etc.)—just be prepared to be engaging and talk for 4 minutes at the absolute most. Each selected student presenter will be entered in a random drawing to win $100.
Students MUST APPLY BY March 5. You will be notified by March 10 whether you have been selected
