As a land grant institution that leverages the diversity of thought, the Inclusive Leadership and Learning Unit (ILL) in the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, seeks to comprehensively engage the University with the expectation that everyone will contribute to inclusive excellence, through facilitated learning/training, webinars, workshops, and dialogues. We build upon the premise that inclusion is our strength and that every person, and every interaction matters. We serve as a resource for developing and analyzing successful inclusive learning, teaching practices, and techniques relevant to research and scholarship.
The ILL unit strives to enhance inclusive growth mindsets, inclusive practices, inclusive culture and belonging, and inclusive leadership.
Therefore, we invite collaboration across units to facilitate educational webinars. All Huskers and friends of the University are invited to facilitate learning through educational webinars. Closed Captioning will be provided.
Through the "Belong, Grow, Practice and Lead" webinar series, we aim to provide the opportunity for ALL to deepen their understanding and enhance their skills around matters of inclusivity in local and global communities.
We encourage you to sign up as a facilitator using the webform. After a review of the submission, based on topic alignment with the ILL focus areas, you will be contacted.
If selected, facilitators are required to join a 1-hour preparation meeting with the ILL unit, at least 2 weeks prior to their presentation, to discuss the presentation elaborately. On the day of the event, facilitators are requested to log on 30 minutes prior to the start of the presentation for technology and audio troubleshooting.
