HELPFUL HIGHLIGHT

Each newsletter I will be sharing tips, campus resources, and skills that can help you personally, academically, and professionally. This newsletter’s highlight is Husker Hub!

Husker Hub is that best resource for all things related to Scholarships, Financial Aid, and Student Accounts. You can stop into Husker Hub in Canfield Administration Building (next to the Student Union on City campus) or join their virtual queue to talk with a Specialist via Zoom. Their website has a fancy new feature that updates every 30 seconds, so you know how many people are waiting to talk to a Specialist in person and online.

Husker Hub also has new resources that answer questions on things like Nebraska Promise, how to read your bill, and how to enroll in direct deposit. More videos are coming, but check out the posted ones here: https://huskerhub.unl.edu/husker-hub-explains

Do you have questions about financial aid, satisfactory academic progress, how funding can apply to education abroad, setting up a payment plan, federal work study, etc.? Talk with Husker Hub!

ADVISING UPDATE

-TODAY is the last day you can register for a full semester class or drop a full semester class and receive 100% refund!

-I am available for appointments, which you can schedule through MyPLAN. Advising appointments across CAS are now 45 minutes. With this new advising schedule structure, it will be especially important that you schedule appointments in advance, cancel your appointment in MyPLAN as soon as you know you are unable to make your appointment time, and use drop-in Zoom advising for quick conversations/questions.

-My drop-in hours this semester are Wednesday afternoons (1:00pm-3:00pm) and Friday mornings (10:00am-12:00pm) via Zoom only. If you have a quick question, please use drop-ins instead of emailing or scheduling an appointment! You can access the CAS Drop-in Advising Schedule and Zoom Room here: https://cas.unl.edu/drop-in-advising-schedule
