Next Tuesday, Women's and Gender Studies will be hosting their 2021 Annual Lecture (co-hosted by SGIS and co-sponsored by DMLL)-- Gender and International Migration: From Slavery to Present with Dr. Katharine Donato. Professor Katharine Donato of Georgetown University is a leading scholar in the interdisciplinary study of women and im/migration. She will be speaking from her book Gender and International Migration: From Slavery to Present. She will also be meeting with students (graduate and undergraduate) for a “Meet & Greet Luncheon.” Currently, we plan to host these events in person. However, given the fluidity of the situation with regard to COVID-19, we may shift to online. Stay tuned for further announcements.
